Natural amber. An individual signature.
Translucent Baltic amber is incorporated into a rosette on the back of the instrument. Its colour and inclusions reveal themselves as the light changes.
The rosette can become part of an individual artwork. Its placement, surrounding wood and decorative materials are composed together.
Does the appearance stay the same?
No. Natural amber varies from piece to piece, and its translucency responds to the lighting and viewing angle. A stage-lit photograph shows one particular appearance.
Can I commission my own artwork?
Individual inlay and artwork can be discussed separately. The design, materials and price are confirmed before work begins; the pictured artwork is not a standard inclusion in every Opus instrument.
The photographed instrument has its own specification. Decorative inlays and individual artwork are optional and quoted separately.
