‘Sanah’ – Grand Parlor – Opus Magnum

Sanah is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Grand Parlor acoustic guitar created for Polish artist Sanah (Zuzanna Grabowska). Conceived as a compact and exceptionally comfortable stadium instrument, it combines an X-WAVE Ancient Kauri / old-growth Redwood double top with Ancient Kauri back, sides and neck.

The instrument’s visual identity is built around an elaborate floral composition. Roses, sharp thorned branches, leaves, petals and one wilted rose flow across the fingerboard and surround the soundhole. The artwork is made from carefully selected pieces of natural Baltic amber in multiple colours. At the lower end of the fingerboard sits a large clock with a brass frame and a mammoth-bone dial, its hands permanently set to 02:00.

A sculptural amber rose illuminates the centre of the soundhole, while the back carries a matching rose surrounded by twelve leaves arranged like the hours of a clock. The semi-transparent amber headstock, amber purfling and 24-carat gold dust in the high-gloss finish complete the design.
