The artwork belongs to the guitar.

Some commissions begin with an image, a memory or a story. In these instruments, the idea continues across the fingerboard, soundhole, headstock or back, while the guitar retains its own playable specification.

The roots and flame-red amber of The Ascent sit alongside the visual worlds of Emerald Tiger, Miles Davis and Windrose. A new commission begins with its own brief: these completed works are references for a conversation, not interchangeable catalogue designs.
