Four Seasons

One tree. Four seasons.

The crab apple returns across all four instruments in engraved inlays of coloured amber, with mother of pearl joining the winter scene. The changing seasons are expressed not only in the artwork, but in four different combinations of soundboard, back and sides.

Spring pairs Ancient Kauri with an Opus Magnum specification. Summer brings 1954 Cedar of Lebanon and Imbuya Burl with sapwood; Autumn brings Western Red Cedar and California Black Walnut Burl; Winter pairs Ancient Cypress with all-black African ebony. Hear each instrument in its own performance film.
