Response and setup
Body construction, string action and the chosen strings are developed together. The aim is a quick, articulate response at the dynamics you use, with an agreed balance between a clean note and the percussive edge.
Nylon / Instrument family
A direct response, a light body and space for the rhythm of the right hand.

The playing brief
For players whose language includes rasgueado, picado and percussive articulation. The flamenco brief prioritises immediacy and a setup suited to the player, rather than simply putting a golpeador on a classical guitar.

Our flamenco direction uses a non-elevated fingerboard. Spirit / Yearning No. 787 combines it with a 650 mm scale, 50 mm nut and an Ancient Cypress double-top.
Golpeador protection and forearm comfort are part of the conversation. The archive includes different wood combinations, including Windrose No. 744, documented as flamenco negra.
